Sarchix Finds

After a crazy year or so, I am almost done with school (for now).  Graduation looms in the future and I can get back to being creative and blogging a bit more.

I am graduating with my degree in Massage Therapy.  I love giving massages and love making people feel good.  Now I just need to get paid (well) for my time and all will be right in the universe.  (Don’t worry, I start training early next month at said new job and have mega plans for the future.)

Over the Black Friday, where I refuse to go out shopping, I have been trolling the Internet for lovely things, especially for crafting and the upcoming winter holidays.  I’ve found some really cute things so far and will begin posting, hopefully with my own photos on my successes (and hopefully not too many failures).

Plus, its the holiday season so that means baking!  Time to get Clive, my ever faithful Kitchen Aid mixer, ready to make up batches and batches of some kind(s) of wonderful baked goods.  No idea what I’ll be making but I know it will be yummy!  Now I just need to find butter on sale…. everything’s better with butter.  Am I wrong?

I just want to remind everyone of two things.  First, everything at Sarchix is my opnions.  I am not paid/compensated to endorse any products.  It’s just what I find cool.  (But if there is a company that would like me to review a product or other good, then I am TOTALLY open to it.  Hint Hint).  Second, I want to hear from you guys.  I want to know what you guys are doing and what you are interested in.  If you can’t find something crafty or what ever, drop my a note and I’ll do my best to find it.

Time to take the doggie to the Vet so I’d better run.  Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving!

I know I have been SO bad at blogging last year and am trying yet again to get back into it.

In the past year I have done a lot.  Mostly this focuses around me going back to school to become a Massage Therapist.  I have never been this happy in school nor have I done as well.  I was one of those kids who just barely missed honor roll etc but that was because I admit now, that I was lazy and school was easy.  I have the spring semester and a bit of the summer before I am done (for now) but I’m having a blast!

So fear not, Sarchix is alive and well and hope to get back to posting cool stuff on the web here over 2010.

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted and I’ve been trying to think of what the direction of this site should be.  I love the idea of keeping things positive especially since there is so much negativity out there.

So in addition to the cool things I find in my travels (and crafting adventures) I will be posting reviews.  It could be a TV show or a product I either liked or didn’t like.  I like so many things but want to keep it honest when something is a dud or just wasn’t my cup of tea.

If there is something out there that you want reviewed or just my opinion, please let me know and I will give you my honest opinion of it.

I love feedback on what works for you guys too so please feel free to comment!  I’d love to hear from you and read your thoughts too!

After a crazy holiday season, I finally have time to post again on the last day of 2008.  It’s been a nice time spending with family and friends and I hope everyone has enjoyed their time with too.

The season isn’t over yet with this being New Year’s Eve, at least in this time zone and I wish only the best for everyone in 2009.  We’ll be back and going strong with all kinds of great finds.

2009 is going to be the best year yet!

As I am still getting the blog rolling, I’m trying to figure out Twitter and how to use it properly.

I can not promise that Twitter will always be as positive as this site, but it will be an interesting view into my life.

Welcome to my site!

I decided to start this to showcase all the good, cool, nifty, and amazing things that are out there in the world.  Only the “good stuff” will be talked about here.

I have no intention on this being a place that is a fluffy bunny/super happy to the point of sappy overload.  Not at all.  I just feel that there is room in this world for a place to focus on good things in the world and shut out the negative things that seem to wear us down, if only for a short time.

I realized that I went to the same sites every day so see what kind of “goodies” they were going to feature.  I would take the links and send them to friends and family to show them this cool thing I found.  Well, why can’t I have a site that does just that?  And thus, this site was started and now I can spread the goodies around to everyone.

Many posts will be just neat things I’ve found but there will also be daily specials like featured websites, guilty pleasures, and worthy charities will show up on a regular basis.

Most of the real world things posted will come from my area of South Jersey and Philadelphia, PA but you never know what kind of gems will be found.  Guest bloggers will bring their own unique world of great things here as well.

No negative, bad or evil things will live in this small part of cyberspace.  There’s too much out there and this is to be a safe haven from all that.  No complaining, whining or being mean allowed!  You have been warned.  Respect for everyone and their views is important.
